Zdenek Veselý

Prag, 2023

Zdenek Veselý is one of the first Czech deconstructivists, pushing the boundaries of conventional art with his innovative works and exploring new dimensions of artistic expression.

From an early age, Zdenek showed an extraordinary interest in art and aesthetics. He studied philosophy at the renowned Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and later at the Humboldt University in Berlin. There – influenced by the philosophical movement of deconstructivism – he calls for a radical new perspective on art and questions all structures of society.

Zdenek Veselý’s works are characterized by a radical dismantling of traditional forms and materials. Combining unusual materials, he creates sculptural installations that challenge the viewer to question the familiar and discover new meanings. His works are often characterized by a certain roughness and fragmentation that symbolize the fractures and contradictions of human existence.

Veselý wants to attract international attention with his unique artistic concepts and provocative works. His exhibitions are shown worldwide and receive wide acclaim from art critics and collectors. However, Veselý is not only an artist, but also a passionate advocate of artistic freedom and the rights of artists. His artistic courage and his search for new forms of expression make him an outstanding figure of deconstructivism.
